PICTURE PALAVA… An issue that the Parliament handled a few days back made some MEN swear to order their wives OFF BLACK BERRY …especially because of the rate at which WOMEN(married and single) are easily lured into SENDING PICTURES to their MALE ADMIRERS. When BB chats centre on SEND ME A VERY FINE PICTURE OF YOU… dont ever imagine he is asking for your normal pictures (even if he pretends to)…the talk will soon shift to BABY,I AM MISSING YOU,PLEASE SEND ME YOUR INTIMATE PICTURE-FOR ME TO ALWAYS FEEL YOUR PRESENCE…I dont know why any lady would stick this kind of ‘convo’ with any man(EXCEPT he is your husband/fiancé-of course). Is that all there is to talk about? Why is YOUR PICTURE his head ache? You barely know somebody and he is asking you for pictures…that is ABSURD! Please begin to REGULATE the caliber of characters you allow into your space. I have lost count of how many times I was accused of being HARSH AND HIGH HANDED…I nor dey send again. It’s about my sanity and GROWTH as an individual. I have come to realize that CERTAIN CHARACTERS…you don’t ever bother with. Time to remove the chaffs from the grains abeg, if a friendship lacks SUBSTANCE…count me out. My way is thus…Any man that asks for my pictures on BB gets immediately deleted…because that is usually the genesis of LECHEROUS talks and all…so you don’t give that room. I give out my BB PIN to those I consider RESPONSIBLE enough- to always reach me (beyond FB) - as I cannot give out my phone number to everybody. The nature of my job (and activities on FB) also demands that one is accessible-most of the time. Its just my guiding principle as far as BB communication goes. I mean, there are whole lots of issues to talk about. What will I be doing with someone whose idea of a reasonable conversation is asking me for PICTURES? As if I dont have enough pictures on Facebook!!!
