PIO DINAGAT ISLANDS-The first Provincial Development Council- Development Administration Committee (PDC-DAC) of Dinagat Islands convene today for its first meeting today, at the SP Session Hall, Provincial Capitol, Cuarinta, San Jose. Representatives from the different related national agencies of the province were present where they tackled the following issues: inclusion of “mining” in the role of the municipalities, institutionalization of Community-based Monitoring System (CBMS), establishment of Barangay Development Center, professionalizing Barangay Secretaries as Barangay Planning and Development Coordinator (BPDC), aggregated poverty and other data with Surigao del Norte, Solid Waste Management in the Municipality of San Jose. They have also agreed several actions relevant to the issues presented.fyi
