PIONEERS AND REFORMERS One of the most difficult assignments/mandates of the pioneers and reformers of this current generation is to be faithful witnesses to unpopular biblical truths. A few unpopular biblical truths include: 1. You cannot habitually and continually live in sin and claim to be a Christian or go to heaven (Romans 6). In fact, many will be offended at the Lords return! ( 2 Thessalonians 2:1-5) 2. Those who reject the gospel will spend eternity in hell (Hebrews 10:26-27). 3. The love of the Father includes discipline and correction (Hebrews 12). 4. Trials, temptations, persecution, and suffering are all instruments used by God Himself to perfect believers into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ ( 2 Timothy 3:12) If it happened to Jesus, why do we think it will be any different with us? 5. If you resist these first 4 points, its probably a good indicator that you are not following/sitting under the ministry of a reformer or pioneer of this generation. May God raise up faithful witnesses to unpopular biblical truths and may they refuse to bend to the fleshy and selfish ambitions of this culture!
