PIPER J. FREDERICK (May 2014- November 10,2014) Piper crossed the rainbow bridge in the early hours of November 10,2014, after a lifelong battle with lifes unfair advantages. Being born a litter of likely 8 opossums, Piper was probably the runt and was disregarded by her biological opossum mother when it was realized she couldnt survive in nature due to her genetic malformations. Lucky for her, she was found on July 22,2014 by Judi McCullough and given a second chance at life when she was united with her true mother, Kayla Frederick. With her Mommys help, Piper made many friends, learned to play peek-a-boo, loved eating blue berries and raspberry babyfood. Piper was a loyal fan of the Ritchie County Womens Softball League, where she attended many games in her Mommys hoodie pocket. She loved to snuggle and give kisses and she loved her cousin Kamryn most of all. Piper is survived by her Moms who love her very much, Her Grandma Kat (who she loved very much- especially when she snuggled her and made her breakfast), her God-Mommy (Katrina Barnes); Many Aunties: Karisa Ball, Angie Merritt, Meggan Hostuttler, Brittany Sellers, Jacklyn Thomas, Whitney Hinton, Elizabeth Gibson, Sarah Stapp (Who mommy and Piper could never thank enough for all the love and guidance), Maranda ʚïɞ McClaskey, and Kelsey Lamp; an Uncle, Casey Frederick; One Great Great Grandma Pauline Ingram who adored snuggling Piper whenever She got the chance; and Cousins Kamryn, Garrett, and Eli. Piper is preceded in death by her sister - Mommys first rescue Opossum, baby Annie (2005), who Mommy knows will take wonderful care her of in Opossum Heaven. In lieu of flowers, Pipers family asks that you cautiously and kindly respect wild opossums and do your best to avoid hurting them or hitting them with your vehicles so that they may live as prosperously as possible in their natural habitat💗
