PIPN was formed in October 2010 from an idea from its founder Jeff Wiszniewski. The idea being to provide a service to the community that was totally independent from the two major Political Parties, ( PP and PSOE ) with special attention being afforded to the expat community, in order to enhance integration into the Spanish way of life. Our main goal is to organise the community of the Urbanisations into the mainstream of public affairs, civic discourse and the party politics all across the San Fulgencio Community. As a community we must organise ourselves into a force to represent the needs of all, not just the few. We believe that political power is not a function of numbers alone but is a combined product of initiative, innovation and determination. We therefore need to unlock our creative energies and transform our present pent-up frustration, anger and pain into creative and meaningful steps towards political empowerment of the expat community. One way of doing that is to methodically gain influence in the local political system, commensurate with the sum total of our skills and creativity, resourcefulness, imagination, moral and ethical concerns, our intellectual contributions and our strength of numbers. We want to help to give our community the voice it needs and deserves. That voice has never been heard more clearly than it is right now. With more PIPN supporters we can achieve so much.
