PITIK TRES: TIPIK SA USA KA DUGONG BOL-ANON PHOTO CONTEST PITIK GROUP The Pitik Group, a group of photo enthusiasts and hobbyists, had staged two (2) Sandugo Photo Contest tagged as Pitik Uno and Pitik Dos for the famous Sandugo Festival, an annual celebrations, jointly ventured by the City and Provincial Government. In 2013, the same group had staged another Photo Competition named as Saulog Photo Contest during the first Saulog Street Dancing Competition in the City of Tagbilaran. In this year’s celebrations of the Sandugo Festival, the Pitik Group would like to handle a Photo Competition to be tagged as Pitik Tres: TIPIK SA USA KA DUGONG BOL-ANON. . The following are the mechanics of the competition. THE MECHANICS The contest is open for both amateur and professional photographers. Photos must have been taken during the street dancing parade, subjects to include dancers, props men, instrumentalists and muses who may have manifested an essence of the Blood Compact and the friendship, unity and brotherhood the event represents. Participants may use any digital or film based camera. Entries must be printed in full color at the competition’s official developing center in 4R size (4x6) at the entrant’s expense. Manually retouching and or printed over print outputs and digitally manipulated files are not allowed. Creative effects done within the camera at the time of the exposure such as multiple exposures, flash fill, lighting, filtration are allowed. Participants pay the registration fee of P300.00 to cover for identification and access cards and other promotional materials for the competition. Participants shall pre-register at the contest information booth located in front of Fuji Films, starting July 23 to 27, where after paying the registration fees, he shall be given two official Pitik Tres Sandugo Photo Competition entry forms to fill for his identification card which allows him/her access inside cordoned areas of the street dancing routes and a control number which will identify his/her entry. SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES Each entry should be submitted with the official Pitik Tres Sandugo Photo Competition entry form with the control number of the entrant’s ID to identify the entry number matching the photographer. Entries for the Photo Contest will be accepted not later than 6:30pm, at the Fuji Films, BQ Photo Express. Participants shall submit their CF or SD Cards to the official developing center color laboratory technician in the order of their arrival. Participants identify to the technician his entry shots for a maximum of ten entries for each two categories: street and contingent. PRIZES: Contingent Street First Prize P 6,000.00 P 5,000.00 Second Prize 4,000.00 3,000.00 Third Prize 2,000.00 1,000.00 P 12,000.00 P 9,000.00 ========== ======== OTHER PARTICULARS: The twenty (20) pieces exhibited pictures shall become the property of the organizers (Provincial Government) who will own the right to reproduce, exhibit or publish the images for promotional purposes.
