PIZZA PIE REVIEW. Finally made it to the new La Volata Pizzeria in #Redlands. I went @4:30pm before the supper crowd hit and they had my pizza to me in 15mins. Service was excellent. I got the spicy abba? (cant remember exact name) pizza for $18, it had peppers, salami and cheese. The sauce was good but the dealmaker on a pie for me is the crust. This was a thin crust and it seemed ordinary for a wood fired oven. I need to go back for a 2nd time to judge the crust again. They had Wagyu Steak as the special but I was set on a pie. Wagu is like Kobe beef but raised in Oregon instead of Japan. The dining area is small so it fills up quick. They had heaters on their patio and chairs but no tables, not sure if they can serve food out there but that would open up a few more spots for customers. Parking was ample and easy to get in and out of, just watch turning into the plaza, people fly down Ford hill there. https://facebook/atavolapizzeria atavolapizzeria/
