PKRA Slalom Austria Day 1 ------------------------ Gunnar is currently competing at the PKRA Slalom in Austria. This is the first Slalom event of the season so its always an open field as no one knows each others speed on the new equipment. Gunnar was 5th overall last year, but actually was not going to compete in Slalom this year, so to come to Austria was a very quick decision. So with little to no slalom training over the winter this was a bit of a gamble for him, but in the end his doubt were unfounded and won his first heat blasting past last years nr.3 Ozwald Smith to take the win on his Fury 9m2. Unfortunately the wind dropped in the Final and he was to underpowered to take a top place. The Final of the second round was better on his Fury Lite 13m2 and he finished 4th.
