The person shall have strategic and operational skills in the planning and execution of new formulas, as well as strong intellectual curiosity on product innovation. Task & Responsibilities • Independently performs assigned scientific experiments for global and regional projects by providing input and identifying problems, assists in developing recommendations for improving standard procedures with decreasing level of supervision. • Participate in cross functional project teams during the project development. • Work together with cross functional areas to propose new claims for new or existent products. • Formulate products by incorporating consumer insights from appropriate channels. • Ability to manage routine processes and complexity, risk taking and decision making are critical components of the role in providing solution to technical problems • Draft technical reports and contributes to information management • Applies understanding and ensures compliance with regulatory agency regulations interpretations • Good communication skills are key to the role in making the bridge between global R&D and Franchise leaders • Responsibility for maintaining compliance, consistency of practice and work quality in specific area of responsibility Qualificações • A Bachelor degree is required. Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Pharmacy is preferred. • MSc is desirable / cosmetic field or correlated is preferred. • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Product Development of Cosmetics Products is required, especially applied knowledge in surfactant systems for Hair Care and Cleansers. • Fluent English is required.
