PLAYERS VAN GAAL WILL BE LOOKING TO GET RID OF THIS SUMMER 9. Ashley Young Young has been poor in recent times for United, with his poor end product and the fact that he has an extreme tendency for diving, which won’t bode well with the strict Louis Van Gaal. Mark Ogden from the Telegraph is reporting that Young could be on his way out the door this summer. 8. Wilfred Zaha Zaha has only been at United one season, but after falling out of favour under David Moyes and subsequently being loaned out to Cardiff, after paying quite a high amount for the youngster. Zaha then went on to disrespect Moyes on an Instagram post, which is something that wouldn’t go down well with Van Gaal, and Zaha is another player that Ogden says may leave. 7. Marouane Fellaini After signing for United for a fee in the region of around £27m, Fellaini has really struggled to make an impact, having a good game once very rarely, which is not good enough for United. He can lazy at times too, which is definitely something that Van Gaal won’t like. 6. Tom Cleverley The young midfielder grew up with United, yet he has struggled to do well with them, especially this season. Cleverley has come under extreme fire from United fans after failing to impress, and his mediocrity this season has been of extreme levels. It’s rumoured that Roberto Martinez wants to bring him in at Everton, so there is a high chance of him leaving. 5. Anderson This is quite obvious though to be fair, as Anderson has never really fulfilled his potential at United, after joining in 2007 for just over £20m. After being loaned out to Fiorentina, Louis Van Gaal will likely want to get rid of him, because he’s just not good enough. Anderson was one of the players that Mark Ogden of The Telegraph claims will be leaving. 4. Antonio Valencia Valencia has been shocking for United recently, largely due to his poor end product and his diving tendency, which Van Gaal will try to stamp out, IF he keeps him, which is doubtful. It’s unlikely that Van Gaal will put up with this, and Ogden also reports than Valencia may be on his way out too. 3. Nani The Portuguese winger has had huge promise since he arrived at United in 2007, however, he has struggled to live up to his potential, and inconsistencies have attracted criticism for him. With Van Gaal’s apparent big summer clear-out ready to happen, it’s hugely likely that he’ll be near the top of the list, which Mark Ogden has also reported in his list of possible United departures. 2. Shinji Kagawa The Japanese attacking midfielder came to United in the summer of 2012 with huge promise. But after struggling to adapt to the high demands of English football, and putting in a handful of poor performances, a summer exit is very possible. Although, with Van Gaal’s arrival, he may seek to make the best out of Kagawa, as Van Gaal has been involved in the Bundesliga when Kagawa’s really shone, so he knows what he’s capable of. 1. Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez Chicarito has always been an impact sub for United, but that’s pretty much all he’s been. Hailed for his fantastic poaching skills, people are starting to notice that it’s only just that, and that he isn’t a good as first thought. Many reports are claiming that he will be subject to a dismissal in the summer, unless Van Gaal sees something in him, that is.~SSG News.
