A meeting was held on March 10th in Chicago with United Airlines representatives to discuss United Express daily service at the local YNG Airport. United Airlines is reviewing the possibility of offering daily service between YNG and practically anywhere, domestic of International, through its hub at the Chicago OHare Int’l. Airport. Before committing to such an investment, United Airlines needs to gain an understanding of local demand for the service. That review process is now under way. I am contacting you in advance of a survey that will poll local businesses and individuals to measure the regions collective interest and support for potential United Airlines service from YNG. The survey may have been received, if not it will be soon, directly from the Airport Marketing office. The Survey will run for the next two weeks until close of business April 4th.
