PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY. This is the latest and Kyle certainly needs our continued prayers!! He has a long road ahead, but I am trusting that our God is bigger the the challenges he faces. ****Update of Kyle Barker : Sept. 15th Day 7**** It has been a long haul but we got a diagnosis today. The oncologist met with us and the report says he has MDS, myelodysplastic syndrome. People with this blood disease are at increased risk of developing acute myeloid leukemia, AML. AML is what they thought he had. He is very sick, but we feel we are heading in the right direction. The oncologist felt he needed to go to a higher level care facility. The first hospital he referred us to had no openings. U o M looked over the report and because it is so critical they bumped him into the next available bed. We do not know when this will happen, tonight, tomorrow... Please pray as they assess him there. They will be running more tests. Pray for the terrible sores that are all over his body. He is going to need a bone marrow transplant and will need to find a match. Pray as he will be transferred to this new hospital. Our God is the great healer. In Him we put our trust. We ask that there be NO VISITORS... He needs to be cautious about infections. We could see you as we rotate in his room. Please call before you come....we may be gone to U of M. We love you all, and ask you pray for a miracle with us!!!
