PLEASE HELP!!! Sharing this post....Are there any places here, in Phoenix or else where that you would recommend. I think for years now most shelters here are full or so I have heard from different media. I would be willing to drive up to 5hrs to take him to a safe place that will not kill him. The cat suffers from a pica disorder. I am not experienced enough to break him of this. Do you know anyone who has worked with lots of cat behaviors and could help me? Other than this eating disorder he is a very friendly beautiful cat. He was a rescue ferrel kitten we took in. Through much nurturing while young we were able to get him to live and trust people and he is very warm and friendly. I would even be glad to adopt another cat that works well with children, other pets if that would Open up space for someone to work with him.
