PLEASE HELP US SAVE LIVES EVERY DAY Our street feeding program saves lives every day. It targets sick and skinny dogs, pregnant dogs, dogs that just gave birth and puppies that are not getting enough nutrition from their mothers. We combine food with parasite medication and we follow up with dogs that are due for vaccinations or other treatments including sterilisation. BAWA’s street feeding program keeps community dogs alive and healthy with basic sustenance, medication and socialisation. These are dogs that are without owners or dogs whose owners are too poor to feed and care properly for their animals. Dogs in the program very often become examples to their communities which see the before and after transition of nutrition and health care. Combined with education, especially of children, this program has helped us reduce animal cruelty to almost zero in some villages in which we work. In these villages, unwanted puppies and sick dogs are no longer thrown away. In some villages, dogs in distress are now rescued and integrated into the community. To continue this important work we really need donations to fund staff wages, food and petrol. Please help us out. Please DONATE today on this page or at bawabali where you can make a monthly donation to help us through the year. Food, too, is greatly needed. To continue caring for hundreds of dogs daily, we could use a sack of rice, a bag of potatoes or other vegetables, coconut oil and dry dog food. We also welcome volunteers who are pre-vaccinated against rabies to help our teams in the field We especially thank Desiree van Laarhoven from Holland and Bill Ward, an American from Guam, for the days they spent in the hot sun helping us feed the street dogs. We also thank them for their amazing donations including supplies that really do save lives. Please help us have a healthy community of socialised Bali dogs. Please do DONATE today. We can only do it with your help.
