PLEASE HELP! ! ! ! We have rights, stop taking the easy road please.. A war on your right to know what’s in your food is coming straight to your kitchen table -- courtesy of Monsanto and the Koch brothers. New legislation introduced by Representative Mike Pompeo -- whose number one political contributor is the Koch brothers -- aims to prevent labeling of foods containing genetically modified organisms (GMOs). More than two dozen states have GMO labeling bills pending this year, but this legislation would preempt states from passing any of these bills. We have to speak out now to stop it. Thats why I started my own campaign on CREDOMobilize, which allows activists to start their own petitions. My petition to Congress says: Consumers have a fundamental right to know what theyre eating. We urge you to reject legislation that would prohibit states and the federal government from requiring genetically modified foods to be labeled.
