Bottom line, this petition is so that the law can be passed to recognize Sickle Cell Disease as a National Health Priority like other major disease such as Cancer, Lupus, and other major disease, which will keep us getting funds by the government every year. I personally think this should have already been in effect. But since its not and if we cant get this law passed, there will be no more funding...WE, THE PEOPLE, need to take action.
