PLEASE PRAY (Weekly TBP Prayer Request List) “…Pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you.” – 2 Thessalonians 3:1 Thank you for all of our prayers for the ministry of The Better Place; for indeed the message of the Lord has been spreading as God has been present to favor the School of Prayer sessions, the Mini-School gatherings, opportunities to preach/teach on Sunday mornings in many churches and the wonderful opportunities to teach and preach in Uganda. Here are some specific requests for The Better Place Ministry: Prayers have been answered as people gathered for the first Session of our Regional School of Prayer in Bemus Point, NY in March and again in May. Prayers were answered at our Director, Roy Miller, and Bishop Leecroft Clarke returned to Uganda in April to teach at conferences for pastors and church leaders, to preach at open-air crusades and to preach in churches on Sunday. Prayers were answered as Dr. Miller returned to Rome, NY in May to teach at a Mini-School of Prayer there. Joel Marsh has videoed the first two Sessions of our School of Prayer. Please keep Joel in prayer as he now works to produce the final product which will result in DVDs of these Sessions being available to any and all who desire them. Please pray these DVDs will be an effective tool for the ongoing equipping of the Church to be a House of Prayer for the Nations. Money has been given to under-write the cost of the first two DVDs. We still need gifts for the third and fourth DVDs that will be produced after sessions #3 and #4 in September and October of this year. The cost is $3,375 per DVD. Please keep praying for God’s leading in filling two vacancies on our Board of Directors. As the Executive Committee of our Board of Directors has counseled together in the Holy Spirit, they have sensed God’s leading to look into a building that is for sale in Jamestown, NY. This building will provide a “downtown presence” were we can have a bookstore, a permanent home for our Healing Rooms ministry, a place to hold conference, a temporary location for offices until we build our campus and much more. Please ask for God’s favor, wisdom, direction and provision for this. Thank you. Regarding the Campus. Dr. Miller met last week with our County Executive and a gentleman who owns a fund-raising business to talk about a plan to raise the funds to purchase property and build The Better Place campus with all the funding for staff and endowments as well. Please keep praying for God’s full provision for God’s vision to come to pass. We need $300 thousand as soon as possible to move ahead with the property purchase for the future campus. We are desperate for funds to hire a full-time Director of Communications for TBP. This person will re-build and maintain our [now stagnant] web site, care for all publicity of our many events and – in the future – produce the videos of our schools and conferences. We need seed money to add titles to our book store. (This money comes back to the ministry as books are purchased in bulk at a low price and sold for a small profit.)
