PLEASE READ: Hey guys, SUPER important human stuff here...for those of you that dont know, there was an ALL fixie ALC team 2014. Theyre AMAZING guys & Ive had the privilege of of befriending the captain of their team. Their team has been growing and this year they have added females to their roster! Heres the important stuff... One of their new female teammates was struck by a white truck in a hit and run accident and she has suffered massive head trauma. Shes had multiple surgeries to relieve pressure in her brain (amongst other surgeries.) THE GOOD NEWS: shes able to respond to some simple commands and eye contact was made with her mom. She also, recently, was able to give a HUGE thumbs up to visitors. Shes got a long road to recovery. THE NOT-SO-GOOD NEWS: the hit & run suspect(s) have not been found yet. Additionally, her medical bills will undoubtedly sky rocket past what her insurance covers. Rob Brouillard (captain of Team Cretins AIDS/LifeCycle) and team are working really hard in raising funds to help with this cost and they are 92% of the way there.
