!!!PLEASE READ!!! IM PROVIDING THIS AS A PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT !! I received a computer automated phone call today. The recording stated that one of our b of a cards was flagged for fraudulent activity. Then the automation said please hold for a fraudulent claims specialist. Then I heard a click and then another automated message came on and GAVE ME my card number (which I havent even provided yet). Then asked me to input my expiration date and ccv code. Since they had a lot of my information already it really seemed legit, but my guardian angel kicked me in the head....hello-!!!! estupido....wake up ......so I hung up and called the B of A customer service number 1-800-432-1000, Spoke with a gentleman named Anthony and he confirmed that this is happening every day to b of a customers. He also mentioned that a lot of elderly customers have been scammed !! These low life scum sucking hackers/scam pieces of S#$& are finding new ways to scam elderly persons and anyone they can. Please inform everyone of your friends and family to always call the bank after receiving a call from any persons or MACHINES claiming to report fraudulent activity on a bank card or account. Bank of America will always investigate and refund any money from scam or fraud but they investigate fully before refunding any lost funds. If we can pass around jokes and quotes....why not send something to warn all the folks....ha ha ha im a poet and didnt even know it!!!! Love and peace to everyone.
