*PLEASE READ* Ok this is what I need right now. If you have contacts in the government, Adelaide council, media etc please share and message me. Ive contacted charities, community organisations so far and understand theres a lot of red tape, but from experience in the Tas fires Im telling you this is what we need: I need a large facility (like a Showground) that is in central Adelaide that we can use as main storage and sorting facility for all of the donations collected across Adelaide. I need it available yesterday basically. I have trucks for transport, volunteers, legal support (for insurance etc) I just need a huge, secure space NOW. I need a large facility as close to the affected areas as possible thats safe and support by the local council that can be used as a basecamp for BlazeAid. It must have toilets, room for volunteers to set up camps and caravans, have a kitchen and dining tables to feed the volunteers who will be there for months to voluntarily rebuild all fences and outdoor structures. Blazeaid are ready to go and will deploy from Victoria to be here within 2-3 days as soon as we have a place for a base camp and local government approval. These two things are the BIGGEST and most important things we need to establish to provide long term, cohesive support and assistance. Also; if anyone knows where I could hire a laptop South of Adelaide so I dont have to do everything from my phone as my hard drive on my IMac had died, please let me know, Id be very grateful.
