This will be benefiting the non-profit organization REbeL Peer Education which is a LOCAL KANSAS CITY group inside of the high schools and middle schools! The purpose of this organization is to help our youth overcome eating disorders, self esteem and being bullied issues! This group is made up of the students that form a strong support system to help overcome the impossible standards that society has glamorized among other things. I personally battled a pretty intense eating disorder from the age of 15 to 30! I really dont know how I overcame my battle except from the will of God, a major drive that kept me awake to fulfill something in my lifetime and a HUGE support system always standing by me while battling my demons!! With that said, I STRONGLY feel if this organization was in my junior high/high school it would of made a strong impact on my life!
