((PLEASE READ THIS IT WILL HELP WITH PRAYER)) I was asked a question a couple months ago, a very good question! I was asked Why is it that sometimes when I pray nothing seems to happen? And why is it that when I pray for someone, sometimes they do not get healed by Jesus? I prayed about it and felt like I should read John chapter 13,14,15. As I was reading the chapters verses really stood out to me. I just want to share this with my friends hoping that it will help everyone then I will try to give a explanation to the verses, I truly believe with all my heart it will help many people. Jesus says in John 14:13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. 15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever John 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 14:18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. John 14:21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” John 14:23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. John 15:4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. As we get to really know Jesus by reading the gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. We get to understand what Jesus was like. Jesus also says in 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. And the more we understand who Jesus was, The more we begin to understand what He is asking of use, and how He wants us to become. We begin to see that He wants us to obey His commandments, give to the needy, pray, not to judge others, love one another, that He desires mercy not sacrifice, that He is love, that He tells us to trust in Him, and not to worry, to give thanks and rejoice in Him and so on. You see Jesus was 100% in perfect alignment with The Heavenly Father He only did what The Father told Him to do. If we keep His Commands, love one another, remain in Him and that His words remain in us by reading The Bible and meditate on it day and night, and truly do our best to understand and do everything that Jesus told us to do, we are trying to becoming in perfect alignment with Jesus. I believe if we do all of this and then we pray Jesus will answer our prayers. And one more thought, I have also noticed that when we get closer to God our prayers start to change. 1 example I use to pray that God would bless me with money, and things that I need But now I thank God for what I have and just by faith know He will meet all of my needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
