PLEASE READ!!! This message was on my friends wall. She lives in Broadview Hts. PLEASE be careful! My neighbor was approached by a young Hispanic man wearing a skull and cross bones cap. He came to her front door and repeatedly asked her to go to her side door so he could show her a stake that he had placed in her backyard to mark where her neighbor was putting up a fence. Thank God she followed her instincts and did not go outside! There were 2-3 other people inside the blue van parked in her driveway just waiting for her to go outside so they could come in through the front door and rob her. These same men have been spotted in Brunswick and Middleburg Heights pulling the same routine on elderly people. The very same day, my son confronted a man walking through the backyard claiming he was meeting a friend across the street. Our backyard is all woods and brush - quite difficult to navigate through. I dont know if the two incidents were related, but its unnerving and enough to keep me on guard. If they are doing this kind of thing here, its probable that the same kind of thing is going on elsewhere. Please be alert and warn all your family and friends.
