PLEASE SHARE & BE AWARE We have been contacted by a very concerned follower of our page. Yesterday he came across a dog straying in the Dunmurry area. The dog was distressed & appeared to be in pain. A few people had gathered & an English speaking woman driving a blue Picasso type vehicle came forward & said she would take the dog as she worked for Assisi. Finder asked for dog to be taken directly to his vet as in his opinion thats where the dog needed to go and after passing over vet details the woman drove off with the dog. When finder called to follow up on dog sadly the vet nor Assisi have knowledge of the woman or dog. Assisi are extremely concerned that someone is portraying themselves as an Assisi worker & are anxious to trace this dog. PSNI are being informed of this incident also. Please please never hand an animal over to anyone without firstly asking for proof of identity. This is very worrying and it is imperative this dog is located. The dog in question is described as a black & white pointer cross type dog who was at the time very dirty so may have been straying some time. Please help us and share this post x
