PLEASE SHARE: Claude Lelouchs Rendevous is undoubtedly awesome. In Paris, 1976, Claude (a film director) strapped a camera to a Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9L to have enough stability while filming, but used the sound of a Ferrari 275 GTB for the soundtrack. His instructions to the driver were simple, drive flat chat across Paris (10kms). The safety precautions taken were also simple. Do the whole thing at 5:30am whilst Paris was still asleep! The car hit at least 140km/h in some sections. When the film was shown Claude was arrested and held for questioning. He never revealed the identity of the driver although rumour was that it was an F1 driver.
