ALL are welcome to tonights Community Action Forum at 7 pm: CHRIST THE KING UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST 11370 Old Halls Ferry Road Florissant, MO 63033 The purpose of this forum: To begin forming a cohesive front in our quest for justice in the shooting death of Michael Brown. To gain knowledge of resources and collective actions designed to move us forward in our quest for justice. To hear and be heard in ways that begin solidify our course of action toward more just St. Louis. Governor Jay Nixon has called and confirmed his attendance tonight. We will also be joined by: The Mayor of Ferguson, James Knowles The Chief of Police in Ferguson, Tom Madeline Jackson The US Christian Coalition Liaison, Dr. Anastasia Syes Conciliation Specialist, UC Department of Defense, Rita Velenciano We will hear and be heard regarding the challenges of raising A BLACK MAN in a racially polarized city. We will be given resources to move us forward in our quest for justice We will discuss and provide opportunities for concrete action steps to COLLECTIVE POWER!!!!!!
