PLEASE SHARE: Record Cold in September? It could happen next weekend! Friday brought the 2nd HOTTEST day of the year and it was followed by shocking but refreshing cool this weekend. Look whats next: RECORD COLD?: The GFS model is forecasting a record low next Saturday morning of 37º. This would break the current record of 38º set in 1910. The upper midwest is projected by the model to see lows in the 20s and even some SNOW. Time will tell if the model is accurate but it continues to look likely that we will see unusually CHILLY and even COLD air for the first part of September. COOL PATTERN: The Climate Prediction Center keeps us below normal for the next 10 days and likely for the next 14 days. HEAVY RAIN: Another round of heavy rain is possible. Its reasonable to think some could get an inch to maybe two. Best rain and storm periods coming up are Tuesday night and Wednesday. Severe weather will also be a concern. Enjoy your Sunday. It looks like another wild week of weather ahead. Ric ツ
