PLEASE SHARE THIS...... so I have contacted news stations and they dont seem to think I have a story but I think I do you tell me and if you think I do please share this. If the news wont share it lets spread this through social media. As some of you may have already heard last Saturday night there was a post on the buy sell trade lake county page. There was someone who had a boxer who was in distress while giving birth. The owner of the dog did not have money to bring her to the emergency vet. The kind hearted animal lovers on the page were trying to raise money. In the mean time myself and Teresa Maire Caruso met the mom and her baby up at Tyler emergency vet in mentor on Tyler blvd. We went in and explained the situation and how we heard about this on facebook. They started taking donations as they came in. They brought us in the back to start the exam. We sat there for what felt like forever as this poor dog basically lay dying in her moms lap. the vet finally comes in feels her belly and says I dont know what is in there but she needs surgery. I understand you are trying to raise money so let me get you prices. He came back right away with the price 1600. and then he left again. never did he offer anything for her pain we had money for that. They left us there for hours never checking on us as again the dog lay dying. Then they send the nurse in to tell us there is nothing we can do and because it is on facebook even if you had the money we would not help you. You have to leave! We dont want anything negative on social media. REALLY? Well I was not happy I am not sure what I said to these people because I will be honest I was horrified that you are in the business of helping animals and u r just turning your back on a dying dog? So who knows what I said at this point. Come to find out more people were calling to donate and they were not even answering the phone they were letting it go to voicemail. So now we have to leave with this poor dog. It was heartbreaking. Until someone on the page told us about Brook Park emergency clinic. She took the dog there and they did emergency surgery and saved her life. They also let her have time to raise the money. They gave her 4 days and she did raise the money plus some. The extra money that was raised was split between a few different animal organizations. I would like everyone to share this story get the word out about what Tyler emergency did and how Brook Park saved the day!!! Now I think this is news!!! the more people who share the better!! so start sharing please!!!
