PLease look into the eyes of all the animals you see on this page. The person who could have been their hope never arrived. When their pictures were taken they were homeless and waiting for someone to rescue them. Some may even have been waiting on an owner to come and bring them home. Oh, some of them once had a home with loving owners who held them and played with them but for some reason their owners didnt want them anymore or maybe some just couldnt care for them any longer. Some of their owners were kind enough to take them to shelters or locate a rescue group that would try to place them in new homes but others simply abandoned them, leaving them in the hands of an oftentimes cruel fate. You see, a pet is a living thing, it can experience happiness, sorrow, pain and even hopelessness. A pet is not a disposable item that you can enjoy for awhile and then toss out like yesterdays garbage. The choice to become a pet-owner is a lifetime commitment. So think about that the next time you just cant resist that cute little puppy or kitten in the pet store window. If you have talked it over with your family and everyone agrees that youd all like a family pet, then please...consider contacting your local shelter or animal rescue group. Just imagine the joy your family will experience knowing that youve helped to save a beautiful and loving life that now brings you so much happiness. Theres no experience better than giving a second chance to something so precious. Wont you please consider it and then ask me about helping you find that perfect pet to share your life.
