PN men has been sent to Germany in the past to train in submarine operations...Cebu city has a rudimentary version of a submarine...we cannot wait for conflict to start by then PN will have zero experience in sub warfare...like most PAF multirole fighter plane pilot but at least they have months worth of experience now that we finally got the South Korean version of a down graded F-16...conventional powered submarines are not too expensive...cheaper still for second conventional subs ...maybe S. Korea can be convinced to donate one or two to the PN...submariners like fighter pilots need lots of time to train and explore the limits of the envelope of the platform...should we wait to conflict to start...then we will be sending in trainee submariners or student submarines against veterans, experience Red China seadogs. For those who is not going to do the fighting its a waste....for the sake of those who will be at the front lines give them what it takes to clobber or bludgeon the giant to its knees...
