PNG’S Hon. MPs THEY BELIEVE IN NOTHING EXCEPT - TopicsExpress

PNG’S Hon. MPs THEY BELIEVE IN NOTHING EXCEPT THEMSELVES Whenever I get a newspaper in the morning, I quickly glance over to what our Hon. MPs are saying. And most of what they say is purely rubbish and nonsense because they believe in nothing. They only talk for themselves. Not for the people or the country. Typical examples: • Hon. Don Polye – if what Don Polye has confessed with regards to the UBS K3billion is what he believed in, he would have long time ago confessed about the K71.8 million paid to Paul Paraka Lawyers; • Hon. James Marabe – James Marape is now coming out and defending the PM only when Don Polye has spilled the beans. What does Hon. James Marape believes in? He simply believes in nothing. He only believes in himself with the ministerial position he is holding with all the perks and privileges that comes with it; • Hon. Peter O’Neil – Prime Minister Peter O’Neil is still maintaining that he has not signed the letter to pay Paul Paraka K71.8 million. But he has moral and constitutional obligations to resign from the public office. He has not stepped down because he believes in nothing except himself; and • Why are all MPs quiet over all the serious allegations? They all too believe in nothing except themselves. They too are worse or same or don’t want to miss out on all the goodies that comes with being silent. PNG is even worse now than we before independence because of such leaders who believe in nothing. Such leaders their credibility and integrity as leaders is questionable yet they are still holding public office but for whose expense? PNG will still progress back ward and remain worse with time no matter how much rich we are in natural resources because we have leaders who don’t believe for the country or the people. PNG has leaders who only talk when they don’t get what they want. When they get want they want, they remain silent. People who believe in greater things, they always defend what they believe in. Even sacrificing with their own lives, they go to great extremes to defend and achieve what they believe in. Nelson Mandela of South Africa he believes in ending the apartheid regime in South Africa. That’s what he sacrificed his life for. Mahatma Gandhi believed for freedom and to achieve it he believed in nonviolence and civil disobedience. Martin Lurther King Jr believed for equality among black and white. He believed that God created man equally. If man is to be judged by man, then has to be on the basics of not the skin colour but CHARACTER. I feel sorry about the standard and quality of leadership in the country. It’s nothing. Not even next to useless or rubbish. PNG has the potential to be one of the greatest nation on earth. But if we keep on electing leaders who believing in nothing except themselves, the country is useless as its leaders.
