POEM OF THE DAY The Awakening Sleepers awake. The universe is not just emptiness punctuated by stars. We have been asleep. It is the very source of every ray of life giving light. To be awake is to have consciousness. Drinking nectars from beyond the universe. Exporting entropy like a living cell. Symbiotic twins that caprify the stars. For them galaxies and hurricanes are the same thought. One mind builds the planet with all its possibility And the other injects life into the equation. Invisible snowflakes fall on planetary places. It is the sum greater than the parts, more than just elements, Vital essences fertilize matter. We are the children of the stars. When you are finally awake you know for certain that you are not alone And you did not come to be by chance. There is a purpose for the galaxies, there is a purpose for you and I. BY: JF Anstead
