POETICALLY SPEAKING CONSERVATIVELY The Bloodletting That Knows No End This past week was further proof that this world is getting more insane A satirist and his 11 associates killed. From insulting Islam they did not refrain The Jihadists say it very simply. If you attack their religion then youll die Other religions are taken to task. The Muslim religion is spared. Can anyone please tell me why? In 2012 Charlie Hebdo was sued over the cartoons he produced about Muhammad It was alleged that he and his paper were willfully and deliberately inciting hatred But he bravely stood his ground. He would not give in to any kind of intimidation Freedom of expression was precious to him. Now he has suffered an assassination This act of barbarism in France has been denounced. It has been so decried But people in the Muslim world feel that these attacks were utterly justified In the name of this religion so many people brutally tortured. So many dead Its beyond comprehension to think of the amout of blood thats being shed Dare to insult Islam or Muhammad it is capital punishment that you will receive From these Jihadists any kind of sense of decency has surely taken leave For offensive talk Radical Islam shows no toleration. This weve come to expect It is so perverse in its hideousness. It is so troubling in every kind of respect
