POLAR PLUNGE CHALLENGE Do you know anyone who uses plastic on their windows to help keep out the COLD of winter? If you do, then maybe they could benefit from the outreach ministry that is just now being started and supported by the congregations of both the Pottersville United Methodist Church and the (Riparius/Wevertown/Johnsburg) RWJ United Methodist Church. This ministry is aimed at providing Inside Storm Window Panels for those people who could benefit from them. Our goal is to be able to provide these window panels at little or no cost to the recipients. In or to provide some of the initial funding for this ministry, Arnold Stevens (the pastor) for both Pottersville UMC and RWJ UMC is putting out the following challenge. Arnold is ready and willing to experience the cold in order to provide others with warmth. Arnold will be one of the “plungers” in the Lake George Annual POLAR PLUNGE on January 1, 2015. If you feel the urge to contribute to this outreach ministry, please feel free to make contributions to either the Pottersville UMC, or the RWJ UMC.
