POLICE TRAINING :ARRESTING SUSPECTS ------------------------------------- Yangon Region Police Force has extended the training some of its members received from the European Union, through a course aimed at teaching effective ways in arresting suspects of criminal cases in Yangon. The third batch concluded the two –week course on Monday. Two outstanding policemen who received training directly from EU representatives were chosen to conduct the training, hoped to help in the force’s capacity in protecting the citizens of Myanmar. [sound bite] About 65 police officers from Yangon Region Police Force have been trained in the first two courses that were opened in November and December 2014.
