POLITICAL TERRORISM I know that political exigencies permits - TopicsExpress

POLITICAL TERRORISM I know that political exigencies permits that we campaign for our candidates but the misinformation and deliberate distortions of history is not only irresponsible but unpatriotic. Some journalists and media have employed these contemptuous strategy in misleading the public just because of political benefits. Nigeria is greater than any individual profits. We cannot be complaining of the threats to our corporate existence, unity and peace when we incite and advocate hatred, distrust, anarchy and violence based on self serving political interests. We cannot expect tranquility in the communities after the elections with such conducts. Those politicians that are in the habit of blackmail and misleading public information are the true enemies of Nigeria and are worse than Boko Haram. If these politically motivated damaging information against opponents are true, why did those bringing such forward now keep quiet and took no constitutional actions until now? This is hypocrisy and unpatroitism at its highest. Political leaders must remember that they cannot have peace after the elections when they have sown seeds of violence and distrust among the people. Nigerias history with violence began with utterances and public statements attributed to unpatriotic political leaders and the same have continued to grow to dimensions that places our national unity at her brinks. Only informed voters can reverse these trends and reject touts and uncivilized political robbers whose only interests are how they can benefit from Nigerian Federal and State budgets as contractors.
