POLITICS TODAY May God forgive us this generation and the way we play politics, sometime I wonder if alot of us thinks politics is for making enemies or an adventure to save humanity, in my little campus here the aspirants sees it as a means of making enemy, if this generation is working with this perspective I wonder who is going to save this country today, it is high time we realize our purpose for seeking the vote of the electorates, time to ask ourselves is it to be boss over the electorates or serve them in our own little way, once we can define this, the better for us. If you coming as a boss that is when you see other aspirants as an enemy that you need to match on before you get ontop, but if you are to be the peoples servant you sell to them what you have and let the people judge what you have brought before them if it suit them then glory be to God but if it does not, you should know that serving is not by force, think like Awos who was not sad that he lost an election rather the person in him which the country will miss yet we dont have this qualities of men of honour rather we follow the bad steps. Time to rethink if we want a better Nigeria, let us get it right from our departmental election,to faculty election and the SUG in general, then to our grassroot politics.
