PORT SORELL MAIN ROAD HAZARD Council has received a number of calls reporting hazardous road conditions due to road sealing issues on DIERs Port Sorell Main Road, between Applebys Road and Wrights Lane. DIER is currently working with the contractor to rectify the situation as soon as possible but in the meantime urge motorists to seek an alternative route via Thirlstane and Parkers Ford Road. Motorists who need to travel on the affected section of road are requested to slow down, take care and obey all road signage. The Department apologises for any inconvenience and is working as quickly as possible with the contractor to fix the issue. Enquiries/complaints should be directed to DIERs contractor, Venarchie by phoning 6326 8440.
