POSITION VACANT SUPERMARKET/LIQUOR ASSISTANT MANAGER Foodworks Supermarket Macksville is seeking an enthusiastic full time Assistant Store Manager. Key responsibilities include: • Leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service • Maximising sales by identifying and delivering on opportunities for sales growth • Stock control, replenishment and merchandising • Training and development of team members in sales, service, safety, merchandising and stock control • Assisting the Store Manager to manage day to day operations of the store To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following selection criteria: • Have previous experience in a Management or Supervisory role within a Supermarket • Strong financial management skills • A strong awareness of Workplace Health and Safety and its importance • A strong awareness of Food Safety and its importance • Experience in developing staff and motivating teams • Demonstrated ability in people management, stock management, merchandising and loss prevention processes • The ability to work hands on in a dynamic retail environment • An eye for detail, with the ability to problem solve and adapt to change This position will include weekend work.
