POSITIONS VACANT AT Youth Advocacy Centre Inc (YAC) Youth Bail Accommodation Support Service (YBASS) Coordinator (Locum Full time 12 months) Support Worker (15 hours per week 12 months initially) YAC, a community legal and welfare agency for 10 -18s in the greater Brisbane area, seeks an experienced and team oriented person for a locum for the position of Coordinator in its YBASS program for 12 months from 31 March 2014. The role includes coordination of the operation of YBASS, assessment and case management services to young people who have outstanding court matters, to assist them to be granted bail and/or successfully meet their bail conditions, and assistance to their families where appropriate. • Excellent working environment, time-in-lieu arrangements, salary packaging. YAC is also seeking a Support Worker for YBASS to commence as soon as possible to undertake some more routine aspects of the service, particularly in researching, sourcing and acquiring a range of appropriate goods and services, based upon the client’s case plan and then ensuring that the client receives these supports. • Excellent working environment, time-in-lieu arrangements, salary packaging.
