POSSESSIONS written by Joyce Henderson 6/28/14 (c) What is your favorite possession? You might say give me some time to think! You know life goes by in just a blink. My family is most important to me! Is this really what you believe? Is there a day that goes by, that some member hasnt made you cry? Do they disappointment you at times, with no reason why or rhyme? Do they cause your heart to break, with each and every mistake? Yet they are important in deed, with every request they choose to need. My work is very important to me! I feel this is where I need to be. My boss, my co-workers I must confess, expect from me my very best. My home is important this I know! Its my castle where after work I go. Its my place of constant rest and sleep, where I go to be complete. My church is very important to me! It meets my every spiritual need. I go there to grow in Gods Word, yet many times I havent heard. Jesus, should be my all in all, failing him I feel less than tall. I knell before him asking him to bless, but quickly I forget my sinful mess. What do I have if I dont have him? What can I do without him by my side? What am I if not his bride? I am nothing before him as I stand, yet in his forgiveness he takes my hand. He forgives when I simply ask, he but only asks this life changing task. Love others, forgive their mistakes, know that my sons death upon that rugged tree, made your life become debt free. Know forever now youll be, spending eternity with me!
