POSSIBILITIES FOR THE NEW DARK FATE MYSTERY CHARACTER: MENAE/MINIE/MENE Okay the Dark Fate and reading so far on who could possibly be Menae: CHRISTA: is my big support, why you may ask? Well for one, back in DLMB Subaru’s Maniac Prologue flashback, Christa mention to having a brother. Translation from prevolt (Dark Fate vol.1) Carla: ”Shin. Father once had a younger sister.” Christa: ――It’s a dance party… …I’d like to dance with my elder brother. Subaru: … …? Christa: My older brother is the best… …I choose him… …Everybody will watch us as we dance the waltz. Subaru: (Why is she telling stories about the past all of a sudden… …?) Christa: Elder brother is kind… …and with this music for the waltz… …it’s suiting to admire my brother… … It’s completely forgotten. I hate it… … Subaru: Mother, that story… … Christa: Afterwards, my elder brother came up to me with a white rose. It was very beautiful… … He said that it would suit me if I put it in my hair. But, they were there too… …Ggh, yeah, they were… … Subaru: Mother, enough already. Christa: I can’t forgive… …Karl Heinz… …it’s all because of you. Aaaahh, NO… …!! One reason she may call Subaru filthy is because of her high pride as a first blood. Shin and Carla seemed to have high pride as well due to their status and think of themselves much more powerful the Karlheinz’s family and of course humans. So having her blood mixed with the ‘filthy bat’ added to her insanity. But here is something that bothers me, according to Carla, reading into Menae’s thoughts, she escaped willingly from the advice of Karl. Now maybe Karl promised Menae freedom from Endzeit (the terminal disease that kills immortals) and boredom after he banished the first blood family to Pandamondium castle. In turn, he tricked her and forced Christa/Menae? to marry him and raped her. So not only is the fact she was raped by a person who’s blood is beneath her, she left her friends and family to die without knowing where she is. So basically they got the wrong woman. -Cordelia: Now this is a stretch. Because while leaving her family to die to a illness to be with a man who gave her a small amount of attention does definitely seem to be in line of her character, she is a half blood. It stated in by everyone that she was the daughter of the Demon king, but in Reiji’s route in HDB, she is half vampire/demon. Why would a family with high esteems to be the first blood have a relative who is half blood? Most likely they would have killed her at the first chance. Carla: ”Menae was arranged to marry Father. She is a woman of ‘First Blood’ who was put under strict control, severely prohibited from interacting with other races… so why did she vanish?” So why would the family arrange a half blood to marry a pure blood? And remember, Cordelia is Demon blood and vampire. While Carla and Shin’s family is ‘First Blood’ of the vampire. -YUI’s biological mother or ancestor. Now I had a huge theory for awhile that Yui is supernatural related to witch/pagan parents. Having a strong magic background is what led Yui to survive the heart transplant from Cordelia as a baby. This is what led me to believe this theory : Shin: ”It was all just a beginning, and yet strangely enough, it felt like an ending. After that, we followed Menae’s thoughts… only to eventually find out that Menae had left this world due to Endzeit. We thought we were at the end of our wits, but then we found out the existence of a certain human woman who inherited Menae’s blood.” The wolf bros traced Menae’s memories or presence and found out she had already died from Endzeit. However, they the wolf bros traced Menae essence to Yui after she died. Yui also ‘inherited’ the blood. Instead of it being forced into her, like Cordelia’s heart. Basically she is the last female ‘First blood’. That could explain why Yui has the ‘?’ symbol on her information card where race is as well why her blood is so delicious. Not only does she have noble demon blood in her (Cordelia) but she also has noble vampire blood as well. Cause every singe vamp says how sweet it is. I think the triplets even comment on that Yui’s blood is more delicious than their mother’s. So yeah that is my theory. It’s either Christa or Yui’s biological relative. Time will tell what will happen to Yui and who this mysterious Menae is.
