POST WORKOUT MUSCLE RECOVERY TIPS: 1. Stretch Well: A good muscle stretching session should last anywhere between 5 to 10 minutes and preferably 15 minutes for high intensity exercise formats. Make sure to stretch all those big muscle groups: biceps, triceps, hamstrings, glutes, quadriceps and calves. Stretch the neck, spine and back muscles too! A short yoga session post workout is ideal as it stretches the entire body while soothing and calming the mind. 2. Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate! : Hydration is important not just after a work out but throughout the day. Water is the best source of hydration! Other healthy drinks for hydration are fresh fruit juices such as coconut water and watermelon in addition to ample water intake :) 3. Protein Rich Diet: Protein is fuel for the muscle. Its best to drink a Protein Shake post work out. Other healthy sources of protein are quinoa, lentils, beans, eggs and lean meat such as chicken and turkey. 4. Sauna, Hot bath with Epsom Salts & Sports Massage: These really help loosen up those tight muscles. Enjoy your day folks!
