POSTED TWO YEARS AGO – but today watch same status though electricity bills gone up enormously I am regularly watching over few day that when, I came back from my morning walk at around 8:00 am, the outer lights of 80% houses are on. Whereas it’s around 2:30 hours since sun rises. If I only estimate my living block (1000 houses) its means around 800 lights are on for undue 2 hours, if this sample is applied nationwide answer could be millions of lights on for undue period on 2 hours. WE all criticize Govt. and WAPDA and others for their negligence, corruption , bad planning , non efficiency etc (Which is true ) BUT if do our part and switch off the undue lights it will not only reduce our bill but also be contributory for reduction of Load shedding . KINDLY THINK AND START OUR DUTY – ALLAH BLESS U ALL
