POTENTIAL NEW PROGRAM OF EVANGELIZATION FOR OUR COMMUNITIES Ever since St. John Paul II wrote about the need of a new evangelization, there have been several responses to his call. The evangelization needed is not simply for folks outside the Catholic Church; it is for our own members as well. The toll of the sixties and seventies is that many of our own members were not adequately evangelized as our membership today shows. So, some in our parishes are interested in a program called CHRISTLIFE, a Catholic ministry for evangelization. There will be an information meeting for this program on September 13 in Sterling Heights, Mi., and we have a couple who will be attending. We need some more people to join them to bring back to us a recommendation about providing the program in our parishes. Jim and Lois Flickinger would be the people to contact if you are interested.
