POWER TO GET WEALTH But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is He who giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish His covenant which he sware unto the fathers, as it is this day (Deut. 8:18) 1. there are several implications of the above statement frm Deut.8. 18 for examp we cab deduce frm this verse that: ¤Wealth comes frm God. ¤Wealth must be good, otherwise God would have given us evil by given us wealth. ¤He makes us wealth to fulfil his covenant with us. 2. Since God want us to be wealth shouldnt we just fold our hands, sit, wait and do nothing but expect wealth to come? 3. The various avenues God makes availale to the christain to get wealth: e.g. ¤INVESTMENT (GEN. 26:12-13) ¤GIVEN TO OTHERS (LK. 6:38) ¤TITHES AND OFFERINGS(MAL. 3:8-12) ¤GODLY WISDOM, REVELATION AND IDEAS TO GENERATE WEALTH.
