PP plans Chakwera ouster. By Magede si Wandale In a Nollywood twist of events, PP and MCP who are being seen as political bedfellows after the May 20 elections, The Peoples Party is plotting the downfall of Dr Lazarus Chakwera and the Malawi Congress Party, we can confirm . In the recent days, it has been revealed that Peoples Party, through Geoff Kachale, a son to Joyce Banda has been organising people to fight MCP tooth and nail to ensure that in the event that a recount is held, the Malawi Congress Party should not ascend to power under any curcumstances. Following this, Kachale has assembled a propaganda team which includes recent graduates from the Polytechnic led by Sitha Kandodo, and Blantyre International University graduates led by Gomezgani Kachimba, which is being housed at Mandala Flats in the city of Blantyre. Our sources further revealed that the team uses the flat that used to belong to Joseph Chikwemba, who was sent on a diplomatic mission to Japan by Joyce Banda afew months ago. The team is being coordinated by Yesaya Mkwala of Escom. In a related development, it has been revealed that with the tension mounting between the DPP and MCP which the DPP eyes as the ultimate beneficiary of the vote recount scheme, Kachale has managed to approach and secure the assistance of 11 prominent DPP youths, inorder to fight and distabilise MCP in a move that will see the DPP youths fighting MCP, which will inturn force MCP to fight back at DPP without knowing that their real enemy is PP. *Views not of Malawi24
