PPW Event 16 is in the history books! If you were unable to make it out to Villa Park to see the show tonight, heres a quick rundown of what you missed. Mojo McQueen defeated DAngelo Steele thanks to some Voodoo magic and the dreaded pancreatic claw Cult favorite, Texas Pete, was able to take advantage of some miscommunication between Cousin Eddie and Outlaw Jay and scored an impressive victory thus giving him a spot as a number one contender for the PPW Triple Threat Heritage Championship Milad Akbar and Ron Reeves defeated Calvin Beckham and Matt Vine in an extremely hard fought contest Backwoods Brown squashed Jack Carpenter to earn a spot in next months Armageddon Gauntlet. Following the match, under pressure from Cousin Eddie and Outlaw Jay, Backwoods proceeded to plant Carpenter two more times with heavy duty slams. Matt Dewar was able to topple Willie Richardson to earn a place in the Armageddon Gauntlet thanks to an assist from Matt Vine. After the match, Dewar and Vine attempted to lay a beatdown on Willie until Mirko JoeCop arrived, chased the two off with a chair, and laid down a challenge to Dewar for a lumberjack match at Event 17 which Dewar accepted. Team Sea-Stretch (The Masked Stretcher and The Sea-Man) overcame Will Dolla and Big Jay Knight of the Billion Dollar Empire We also have a new PPW Triple Threat Heritage Champion in Mr. Deron Banks who was able to score the deciding pinfall over former champion Alex Bernadino and Cutta Crosby after a distraction by his Billion Dollar Empire cohorts, Will Dolla and Big Jay Knight, allowing Banks to hit Crosby with a leaping Diamond Cutter to secure the title!
