PR & Projects Officer - Centurion (R8 500 - R12 000 CTC - depending on level of experience R12 000 plus, no extra benefits) Age: 25 - 30 years Gender: 1st choice male Race: white, coloured, Indian and Male MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (35%) Coordinate all the board meetings Responsible for taking accurate minutes and making required implementation follow-ups Responsible for putting together board reports into board packs and dispatching Handling the distribution of board packs to all board members Corresponding with the board members about meetings and related matters PUBLIC RELATIONS (50%) Research and generate content for the production and distribution of the following: •Member and Levy Collector Newsletters •Member and Levy Collector New Alerts •Internal newsletters for staff Source, prepare and distribute project related newsletters and press releases Website content management, including project related websites STRATEGIC PROJECT SUPPORT (10%) Pre identified logistical support related to projects and events Coordinate established project meetings and taking minutes ADMINISTRATION (5%) Preparation of inputs towards annual business and activity plans Preparation of reports related to areas of responsibility from time to time Preparation of annual performance plans in accordance with approved business/activity plans SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Relevant University of Technology Diploma/Degree or University Degree At least 2-3 years relevant working experience in communications, journalism Excellent writing and editing skills Knowledge of MS Windows and Office suite applications Relevant experience of how the media works PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES •Good verbal and communication skills •Strong organisational skills and attention to detail •Work independently and under pressure •Quality results orientated and disciplined •Discretion, good judgement, personal motivation Send CV to [email protected]
