PRADO Will you pray with me? she asked. I try to drop by the Day Center on Prado weekly, to be Mt. Carmels pastoral presence there and to follow Jesus where hes sure to be found. In the Center courtyard, Tamara and I sat on adjoining rocks. She told me about the removal of part of her colon. She had been living with her daughter and her husband. The latter had kicked her out of the house following a dispute. Her car had been impounded. We prayed for strength, guidance and shelter, and Tamara added praise to God for his faithful presence. bgw
